The Bella Paperie was founded by couple Francis & Edward Castaño with the aim of inspiring others with handcrafted cards and heartfelt messages for loved ones.
It is hard to list all the things that make The Bella Paperies collection of greeting cards special, but here are a few:
- Our cards combine the unique qualities of letterpress printing with real flowers
- Our cards are made with 100% recycled cotton fiber
- Our cards are carefully handcrafted in our Palo Alto, CA studio
- Our cards are printed using, Norma, our majestic antique letterpress
Norma was named after Norman Hicks, who refurbished our diamond in the rough. He
gave birth to a majestic letterpress that had been forgotten for decades after offset printing displaced the beautiful letterpress techniques that had been in place since the invention of movable type and the printing press by Gutenberg.
About our pressed flowers:
We use Queen Anne Lace, Orange Cosmos, White Salvias, Boronias, Daisies and many other varieties of flowers to give The Bella Paperie cards their distinctive look and feel. The colors on our flowers are so rich and vibrant that some people do not initially realize that they are real.
About our invitations, announcements, and stationery:
We use the same lovely cotton paper for your invitation, announcement, and stationery needs that we use on our collection of cards. We offer invitations with and without pressed flowers depending on your preference and budget. For a custom quote please contact us and we will work with you to create the perfect invitation for your special occasion.
